Trimbakeshwar Puja Questions
Common questions about booking, pujas and visiting Trimbakeshwar. If yours is not here, ask Guruji on WhatsApp.
Booking
How do I book a puja?
Open the Book a Puja page and fill in your name, phone number and preferred date, along with your city, number of people and language. You can also call or WhatsApp Guruji directly. He then contacts you to settle the puja, muhurat and package.
Is my booking confirmed when I send a WhatsApp message?
Not yet. Your message reaches Guruji, and the date is confirmed only after he speaks with you [TO VERIFY]. If you do not hear back soon, please call or send a WhatsApp message.
How do I pay?
This website takes no online payment. Guruji explains the amount and how to pay when he confirms your booking [TO VERIFY], and a UPI QR code may be shown for convenience. Check the name in your UPI app before paying, and never share your PIN.
Can I change my puja date?
Usually yes, if you tell Guruji early [TO VERIFY]. The new date depends on the muhurat and availability. Rooms and tickets you booked elsewhere have their own rules, so check those too.
How far in advance should I book?
As early as you can, because muhurat dates are limited and rooms fill quickly around festivals. Guruji will tell you the shortest notice he can accept for your puja [TO VERIFY].
Pujas
Which puja do I need?
That depends on your concern and your kundali. Share your birth details and what is troubling you with Guruji, and he will suggest what suits you. Each puja page also explains who it is usually meant for.
Do you offer a free kundali check?
Yes. Send Guruji your date, time and place of birth by call or WhatsApp and he will look at your kundali at no charge. The online Kaal Sarp calculator can give a quick first idea, but its result is only indicative.
Should I choose a group puja or a separate puja?
In a group puja you join other families for the same ritual, which usually costs less. In a separate puja the ritual is done for your family alone, with more individual attention. Not every puja offers both, so please ask Guruji [TO VERIFY].
How long does a puja take?
Narayan Nagbali takes three days. Many other pujas are completed in a single day, but the hours vary with the ritual and the package [TO VERIFY]. Each puja page lists its duration, and Guruji will confirm your schedule.
What is included in the puja price?
Guruji will confirm whether samagri, dakshina, food and stay are included, along with the number of days and pandits. Guruji confirms the final amount and inclusions before you pay [TO VERIFY].
Visiting
What should I wear?
Modest clothes are the safe choice for darshan. For a puja, men commonly wear a dhoti with an upper cloth and women a saree or salwar kameez, but rules and colours can vary [TO VERIFY]. Guruji will confirm what your ritual needs.
What should I bring?
Bring ID for each person, a change of clothes, a towel and any regular medicines, along with the names and birth details needed for the sankalp. Guruji will tell you whether your package covers the samagri or if anything more is needed [TO VERIFY].
How do I reach Trimbakeshwar?
Trimbakeshwar is about 28 km from Nashik city and about 40 km from Nashik Road railway station. Buses run from Nashik to Trimbak, and taxis are another option. The nearest airport is at Ozar near Nashik, but check current flights [TO VERIFY].
Where can I stay?
You can choose from the temple trust's bhakta niwas, dharamshalas and ashrams, hotels near the temple, or hotels in Nashik about 28 km away. Rates and booking rules change, so confirm them directly [TO VERIFY]. Book your room after Guruji confirms your puja date.
What are the temple timings?
Darshan generally runs from early morning into the evening, but exact hours and aarti times change on festival days [TO VERIFY]. The temple trust also posts notices when the temple closes by official order, so check them before you travel.
